OpenGolf ("we", "us", "our") operates the OpenGolf mobile application, the OpenGolf website, and related services, together referred to as the "Service".

- join requests;

We use this information to provide society features and allow users to organise and manage golf-related activity.

Where you allow location access, OpenGolf may use your device location to show nearby golf courses and competitions, sort results by distance, or support location-based app features.
You may also search manually by location without granting device location access.
We do not use location data for advertising.
We do not sell location data.
We do not store continuous GPS tracking history.
You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.
F. Technical, Device, and Diagnostic Data
We may collect technical information such as:

OpenGolf does not store your full card details.

OpenGolf does not intentionally collect special category personal data, such as health information, religious beliefs, political opinions, racial or ethnic origin, trade union membership, biometric data, or information about sex life or sexual orientation.
You should not submit this type of information to OpenGolf unless it is necessary and you are comfortable doing so.
5. How We Use Your Data
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- to create and manage user accounts;

Where possible and appropriate, content may be anonymised rather than retained in identifiable form.

You can request account deletion by:

- visiting www.opengolf.club/delete-account.
Deleting the OpenGolf app from your device does not automatically delete your OpenGolf account.
When your account is deleted, OpenGolf will delete or anonymise personal account data associated with your account where applicable.
Some limited information may be retained where required for:
- legal obligations;
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- abuse prevention;
- dispute handling;
- operational record keeping;
- enforcing our Terms of Service;
- protecting OpenGolf, users, clubs, or third parties.
12. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you may have the following rights:

- the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
